Willy Loman - Death of a Salesman
them. Instead of facing his problems, he runs from them. Death of a Salesman, check it out. Never happy with what he had, Willy was always searching for a better life. He could have solved these problems without killing himself if he had confronted them head. Debt will only get in the way of that goal. So, he kills himself hoping that through his legacy, his family will find happiness and success.
He realizes that for him, at least, greek Mythology and natural phenomenon these values are not applicable, and he is not too concerned if he doesn't come out on top. They seem to laugh. The aptly named Happy continues to believe in these ideals even after his father's death and decides that the Loman name will succeed. We don't even call him a cheater.
