In contrast, an indirect person prefers feeling safe in social environments. Passive-Aggressive communicators high school verse grade school will often: - mutter to themselves rather than confront the person or issue - have difficulty acknowledging their anger - use facial expressions that don't match how they feel -.e., smiling when angry - use sarcasm - deny there is a problem - appear cooperative while purposely doing. Patience and sensitivity are within a dominant communicators grasp but require some effort. In other words, we must learn to "Say what you mean, mean what you say, but don't say it mean.".
